Meet The Team

Adam Chambers

Adam is Primals owner and has a passion for Boxing and Rugby and will use his knowledge and experience to help you get fit.

He has Played for Melton Mowbray Rugby Club first team for over 10 years as well as competing for Melton Assassins Thai Boxing club and Training in Thailand many times.

Adam has recently become a Box 'n' Burn certified trainer after completing a course with Olympic bronze medalist Tony Jeffries

Simon Chambers

Pepper Wake

Pepper is an integral part of the Primal team. As Head Greeter, Pepper will ensure that you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door!

Pepper enjoys chasing balls, napping, and kissing people while they're doing planks.

Simon is a Personal Trainer and leader of our intensive six week fitness courses.

He has worked in gyms in Vancouver and Dublin, working with a many people from professional fighters, amature rugby players through to complete gym new comers wanting to get a little fitter or stronger.

He has also trained and fought in Thailand and in his spare time is a keen cyclist recently completing the epic Marmotte in the French Alps.

 

Simon will soon begin his nutritionist training with the world renowned Mac Nutrition Uni 

ABOUT US

Primal Fitness Studio was born in 2012 with the aim of using the 6 principles of primal movement; pull, push, twist, squat, lunge and gate (run).

We believe in in varied routines, mixing cardio, free weights, and body weight exercises to give a great full-body work out.

We've been teaching fitness classes for over 13 years and we are qualified level 3 personal trainers. We’ve worked for many organisations during our fitness career including Leicester Tigers Community Project, Melton Mowbray Council, MMRFC Rugby Club, boxing gyms in Vancouver, Canada and Dublin, Ireland and Thailand, and a bunch of schools in the local area.

We’ve both enjoyed a successful Thai boxing career and we enjoy cycling and rugby in our spare time. We’ve also had great success with many personal training clients. So, you’re in safe hands!
